Ta Da! Stylesheets! ¬

2006-04-06

Unfortunately, Emily brought home a cute little cold for me from the daycare she works at. One night with it and it turned out to be quite the little devil, so I’m home sick today. Needless to say, I didn’t exactly rush to get out of bed, nor to get myself online, let alone pre-flight my stylesheets and make them live.

They’re now up, but you probably noticed since you’re reading this. Only relatively minor tweaks were needed to get it all working in Textpattern.

So… how does it look?

I have to admit, I love this design. It’s only a minor upgrade to my original design dating back to 2002, but it just feels so clean and concise. The new pixel art I did for it really pulls it together.

Features yet to be implemented:

  • The various sections (they’re currently quite bare).
  • Search functionality (it’s there, but disabled).
  • Section 508 (accessibility) compliance (it’s probably close).
  • A few surprises.
  • And probably more that I’ve missed…

Also, I have not tested the styling on IE 5.2 Mac or IE Windows yet, so if you see any obvious rendering issues, please let me know.

  1. Morgan, site looks great!
    Get well soon.

PS: Did you see that Windows XP Media Center edition CAN actually be installed w/ Boot Camp?!?

  2. Hey Allen!

I did see that XP Media Center works as well, pretty sweet. I’d still rather have the Mac mini Core Duo w/Front Row though. :)
