I’ve been reading this excellent DIY site regarding efficiency mods & hypermiling for a couple years.

This week I’ve been “gliding” my 2003 Hyundai Accent again and hit 37.9 MPG while still peaking at around 5 MPH over the speed limit (yes, including a steady 70 MPH on the Interstate). I sure was glad when I paid $3.899/gal at the pump last night and I’ll be happier when I’ve slowed down even more.
